In response to a number of cases of police sexual violence in Chicago and across the country, the Campaign Against Police Sexual Assault has formed to begin organizing actions and developing sustainable strategies to fight institutional sexual violence in Chicago.

We demand that police be held accountable to the communities they serve to the fullest extent. We call for the immediate removal and arrest of any police officer that misuses their power and authority to abuse and assault members of our communities. We demand that the survivors of police rape receive justice!

We stand in support of all survivors of police violence, and aim to build solidarity with other groups engaged in the fights against police brutality and sexual violence. We seek to build on the momentum from the rise of anti-rape movements like the Slutwalk, and to harness our collective energy to put an end to police rape!

We wish to be radically inclusive, and welcome all of those interested in taking a stand against police sexual assault! All of our voices are needed in struggle to keep our communities safe, particularly for those who are disproportionately affected by police violence (women, people of color, trans folks, queers).
